Adamsville put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gibson County 41-6 on the road. The win was just what Adamsville needed coming off of a 35-13 loss in their prior matchup.
Adamsville's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Avery Mccormick, who gained 86 total yards and three touchdowns, and Ben Hill, who threw for 136 yards and four touchdowns. Mccormick is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Camden Central had to suffer through a rough 61-13 loss at the hands of Huntingdon. Camden Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-0.
Adamsville now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Camden Central, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
