Mitchell won the last time they faced Eastern Greene, and Natalee Nissley did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bluejackets came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Nissley, who had 24 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Eastern Greene's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kierington Wyatt, who had 15 digs and three aces, and Jolie Brown, who had 11 kills and one block.

Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Eastern Greene, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Mitchell has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Springs Valley on the 18th. As for Eastern Greene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Owen Valley on the 17th.
