The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Southern Missouri RUSH in their matchups with Metro Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Southern Missouri RUSH still got an impressive performance from Lillian Mindeman, who scored 16 points along with three steals. That was a full 44.4% of Southern Missouri RUSH's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Southern Missouri RUSH's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Metro Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
