They secured a 76-70 W over Bradshaw Christian. Given Union Mine's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while Bradshaw Christian is ranked 497th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Nate Sweet was his usual excellent self, scoring 34 points along with six assists. Isaac Zmerzlikar was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 19 rebounds.

Union Mine pushed their record up to 20-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Bradshaw Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
