After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spurger, High Island was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Goodrich Hornets with a 31-25 win. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Cam'Ron Medina was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruben Hernandez, who posted five points and six rebounds.
Despite the loss, Goodrich still got an impressive performance from Sky Wrightson, who had ten points.
