You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Anselmo-Merna on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Twin Loup Wolves out of the water with a 65-30 final score. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Makenna Miller was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine assists. Shayleigh Coleman was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Anselmo-Merna was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists.they racked up nine more assists than Twin Loup's almost as impressive total of 11

Gracey Rodocker and Carsen Vincent certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Rodocker posted six points, while Vincent earned seven points. That's the most points Rodocker has posted since back in December of 2024.

Anselmo-Merna pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Twin Loup, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Coming up, Anselmo-Merna will venture away from home to take on South Loup at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anselmo-Merna is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season.
