Riverdale won the last time they faced Newman Central Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rams walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Comets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Cayleigh Hungate paced Riverdale's offense, picking up six kills. Hungate got some help from Lola Wainwright and her ten assists. Wainwright and Hungate didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Riverdale's win bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Newman Central Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Riverdale has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Princeton on the 6th. As for Newman Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Rockford East on the 6th.
