Lincoln fell to Keys 16-34 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Lincoln made easy work of Keys on Friday and carried off a 40-7 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Lincoln's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 33 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Keys couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 33-0 heading into the break. The Lincoln defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the matchup. The contest pushed Keys down to 0-2 and pulled Lincoln up to the reverse at 2-0.
Lincoln will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Subiaco Academy. Keys are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Roland at 7:00 PM.
