The Forest Park Foresters extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Winters Mill Falcons. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Falcons 12-9. Winning may never get old, but Forest Park sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Forest Park can attribute much of their success to TiJuan Reed, who rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Forest Park has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 12-1 record. As for Winters Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
Forest Park will head out on the road to face off against Calvert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvert knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Forest Park likes a good challenge. Winters Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
