The Pensacola Catholic Crusaders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Rocky Bayou Christian at home to the tune of 79-46. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Pensacola Catholic as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Pensacola Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Terius Mason, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Derion Gould was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Rocky Bayou Christian still got an impressive performance from Devin Hicks, who scored 20 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Noah Lynch, who scored six points along with two steals.
Pensacola Catholic's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-18. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
