While Millville put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Benton. The Quakers blew past the Tigers 7-0. The Quakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.
Not much got past Curtis Whitmoyer, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Benton off the board. Whitmoyer also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Millville is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nathan Benedict, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.
