Roma won against Juarez-Lincoln last Friday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Roma narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cigarroa Toros 8-7. The victory was nothing new for the Gladiators as they're now sitting on four straight.

Roma pushed their record up to 11-7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cigarroa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Roma will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cigarroa: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
