For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Oakman and Carbon Hill have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Oakman Wildcats were the clear victor by a 21-8 margin over the Carbon Hill Bulldogs. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Oakman let Luke Martin and Brady Jones run wild. Martin went 1-for-2 with five RBI and three runs, while Jones scored four runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
