Even though the Wright City Lumberjax have not done well against the Hugo Buffaloes recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Wright City secured a  43-38 W over Hugo. This was payback for Wright City, who suffered a  61-41  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Wright City was led to victory by  Kase Lindly and  Rayner Beene.  Lindly  scored 16 points, while  Beene  scored 14 points along with 6  rebounds. The  match was  Lindly's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Conner Green, who  scored 8 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Wright City's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hugo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Wright City won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against De Queen at 5:30  p.m.  on December 2nd. De Queen will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 178th in Arkansas, while Wright City is ranked 28th in Oklahoma). As for Hugo, they will head out on the road to face off against Broken Bow at 8:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
