South Stokes haven't had any issues with Alleghany recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.
 Mikayla Harger and  Bailee Coffill scored both of South Stokes' goals,  bringing their combined season tally to six goals.
 Meanwhile, Mount Airy has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 20. They came up short against  George Wythe on Monday, falling  9-0. While losing is never fun, Mount Airy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 527th in North Carolina, while George Wythe are ranked 199th in Virginia).
 The  win  got South Stokes back to even at 9-9-1. As for Mount Airy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-2.
 Everything went South Stokes' way against Mount Airy when the teams last played  back in April, as South Stokes made off with  a  6-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sauras since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
