The Harmony Grove Cardinals will head out on the road to face off against the Centerpoint Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Harmony Grove entered their tilt with Prescott with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Harmony Grove strolled past Prescott with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 46-27.
Meanwhile, Centerpoint had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 35-23 victory over Poyen.
It was another big night for Alyssa Hewitt, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Cook, who scored ten points.
Harmony Grove's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-4. As for Centerpoint, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.
Harmony Grove beat Centerpoint 44-37 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harmony Grove since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
