They enjoyed a cozy 30-12 victory over River Valley. Given Roseville's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 245th, while River Valley is ranked 659th), the result wasn't exactly an upset.
Roseville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenny McClure, who rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown. Keaton Hatch got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Adrian Walters and Jackson Mcpeak, River Valley certainly did their beston Friday to try and avoid the loss. Walters rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown, while Mcpeak rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Roseville has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in seven of their first eight matches, giving them a 7-1 record. As for River Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Roseville will be playing at home against Inderkum at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Inderkum is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for River Valley, they will take on Antelope at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Antelope focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
