Jason Curry jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cordell Wilkins, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why John Carroll Catholic lost, one person who can't be blamed is Collin Jefferson. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine assists. Micah Coleman was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
The victory got Jensen Beach back to even at 12-12. As for John Carroll Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jensen Beach will challenge the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (American Heritage is ranked 348th, while the Falcons are ranked 327th). As for John Carroll Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Inlet Grove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
