The Trinity Trojans lost to the Brooklyn Hurricanes back in January, but the Trinity Trojans didn't allow the Brooklyn Hurricanes the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Trinity claimed a resounding 46-6 win over Brooklyn at home.
Among those leading the charge was Iniya Charlton, who scored 9 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. De'oshania Bennett was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals.
Brooklyn's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ashlyn Dyson, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds. Dyson scored a full 66.7% of Brooklyn's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got Trinity back to even at 1-1. As for Brooklyn, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Trinity will stay at home for another game and welcome Independence at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Independence is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Brooklyn, they will head out on the road to face off against Beachwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beachwood comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
