Bourgade Catholic came into Friday's   game looking for another win against Cortez, but  Jamerrius Anthony wouldn't allow it. The Colts walked away with  a   41-33  win over the Golden Eagles  on Friday with plenty of help from  Anthony, who rushed for 40 yards and one  touchdown, and also threw for 91 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. He continues to improve, besting his previous  point total in each of the last three games he's  played.
 Cortez didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Bruce Austin and  Anthony. Austin got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Cortez's victory  ended  a  six-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 3-6. As for Bourgade Catholic, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-4.
 Cortez has already played their next matchup,  a  55-6  defeat against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 24th. As for Bourgade Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  48-6  win against NFL Yet Academy on the 23rd.
