Despite the defeat, Fox Creek saw an underclassman step up: Maya Kryshtalowych scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Fox Creek struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Westminster Schools of Augusta racked up 16 assists.
Leading Westminster Schools of Augusta to victory were Jaliyah Terry and India Williams. Terry dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Williams scored 29 points along with three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Westminster Schools of Augusta's points. Aimee Spurlock was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Fox Creek has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
