The Westwood Cardinals will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Indian Hills Braves at 7:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Thursday, Westwood came up short against the Rams and fell 51-39. Westwood has not had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Indian Hills' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 68-53 fall against River Dell. While losing is never fun, Indian Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Golden Hawks are ranked 139th).
Westwood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Indian Hills, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.
Westwood didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Braves when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory. Will Westwood repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
