Lenape had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 6-7 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Cherry Hill West Lions 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

As for Cherry Hill West, they now have a losing record of 1-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Cherry Hill West's part, Ella Davis spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Cherry Hill West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Berg, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lenape will square off against Egg Harbor Township at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cherry Hill West, they will venture away from home to take on Camden Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
