Meanwhile, Purvis was able to grind out a solid victory over Lamar Christian on Friday, taking the game 58-47.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Purvis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacoby Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds. The game was Robinson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Tytus Bridges was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 8 steals and 7 assists.
West Marion's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Purvis, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
