The Crenshaw Cougars entered their tilt with the Marquez Gladiators with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Crenshaw secured a 42-37 W over Marquez on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Crenshaw's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points per game. As for Marquez, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.
Crenshaw will face off against Venice at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marquez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
