Joey Banry was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was India Mohiuddin, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
North Eugene pushed their record up to 18-2 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Springfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
North Eugene will head out on the road to face off against Crater at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. North Eugene has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 665 points over their last nine games. As for Springfield, they will be playing at home against Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Oregon (Ashland is ranked 174th, while Springfield is ranked 177th).
