Sherando has won ten straight games at home, while Liberty has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Warriors will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Sherando's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
Sherando's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Warren County 14-0. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight runs or more this season.

Lilian Wray was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Sherando got a massive performance out of Sophia Zimmerman, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Zimmerman has posted since back in March. Eliza Anderson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Sherando kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Liberty's offense. They came up short against James Wood on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 8, 2024, but that streak is no more.
Sherando's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Sherando got the 'W' when the teams last played last Thursday against Liberty by a conclusive 13-5 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
