Meanwhile, John Milledge Academy posted their closest win since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-47 victory over Mount de Sales Academy. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

First Presbyterian Day better keep an eye on Isaiah Johnson. He was instrumental in John Milledge Academy's win, putting up 25 points in addition to four steals and three blocks. Johnson's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Faulkner, who posted four points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

First Presbyterian Day's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for John Milledge Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

First Presbyterian Day might still be hurting after the 69-48 defeat they got from John Milledge Academy in their previous meeting last Friday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Johnson, who went 11 for 20 to rack up 30 points in addition to six steals and five boards.
