The Water Canyon Wildcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 55-49 W over Millard on Wednesday.
Water Canyon was led to victory by David Barlow and Aaron Barlow. Barlow scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Barlow scored 17 points along with five steals. Barlow is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dynonte Blackmore, who scored ten points.
Water Canyon's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Millard, they bumped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Water Canyon will take on Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kanab will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Millard, they will head out on the road to face off against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Enterprise knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Millard likes a good challenge.
