This season hasn't been kind to the Tenoroc Titans, who are still winless after their tenth match. They were dealt a 78-43 loss at the hands of Lake Region on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tenoroc in their matchups with Lake Region: they've now lost seven in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Region to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zackery White, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. White set a new season high mark in steals with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Eugene Daniels, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Tenoroc's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Lake Region, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Tenoroc won't have much time to rest: their next game is against All Saints' Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. All Saints' Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for Lake Region, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Ridge Community at 6:00 p.m.
