The Florala Wildcats suffered their closest defeat since November 17, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of Andalusia by a score of 57-54. Florala just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Florala's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rayshon Coleman, who scored 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Coleman hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Christian Greasham, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Florala dropped their record down to 17-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Andalusia, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.
Florala will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Andalusia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
