The Scott Eagles will challenge the St. Henry Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Scott headed into their last contest having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Holy Cross let them put that streak behind them. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Indians on Tuesday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Carson Bleha made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Those 14 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. That double was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Eli Smith was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Jay Race was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Scott always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holy Cross only posted an OBP of .118.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Henry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Bellevue a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.
St. Henry's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Scott, the win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-5.
Scott was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Henry in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 8-3. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
