Valor Preparatory Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Duke G led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. G is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caedmon Thompson, who scored ten points along with eight assists and five steals.
Stephenville FAITH has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-10 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home.
Stephenville FAITH's road trip will continue as they head out to face Christian Home Educators at 11:10 a.m. on February 15th. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they will take on Texas Wind at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Valor Preparatory Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
