The Spoto Spartans can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 56-16 victory over Strawberry Crest. With Spoto ahead 33-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Leading Spoto to victory were Dominique Boone and Jayla Griffin. Boone almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, nine steals, and nine blocks, while Griffin dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 steals. Boone hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Clinnesha Simmons was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals and four blocks.
Spoto is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Strawberry Crest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
