Video: Huddle Up with Tony GonzalezLegendary tight end visits New York team filled with young talent.
After visits with a defending state champion in Illinois and a struggling program in Washington, future Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez visited
Poly Prep Country Day (Brooklyn, N.Y.) for the third installment of Huddle Up.
Gonzalez was impressed by the college feel of Poly Prep and its top-end talent on the football team.
But the Blue Devils, under head coach Kevin Fountaine, are also very young and feature a roster of just 34 players. They rely on a number of freshmen and sophomores, so Gonzalez reminded those players of their vital roles.
"You're one play away from being in the game," he said. "Don't waste your time."

Gonzalez obviously put in a lot. He finished as the best at his position in NFL history in terms of receptions (1,325), receiving yards (15,127) and touchdowns (111).
When Poly Prep quarterback
Robert Deleon-Kollmer first heard Gonzalez was going to huddle up with the Blue Devils his first thought was "Maybe I'll get to throw a pass to Tony Gonzalez."
