It was a good run, but Saxony Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 9-2 to the Scott City Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered since May 11, 2024.

Brayden Moore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Baylor Wilson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Saxony Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Scott City, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-2.

As of now, neither Saxony Lutheran nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
