The Temple City Rams''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by San Marino 57-7. Temple City has struggled against San Marino recently, as their contest on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Even if they lost, Temple City's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Sam Bird and his two sacks.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Marino to victory, but perhaps none more so than Coleman Morning, who rushed for 134 yards on only eight carries. San Marino also got a significant boost from Julian Solis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
Temple City's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for San Marino, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Temple City will head out on the road to face off against La Canada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. La Canada is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for San Marino, they will be playing at home against Monrovia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monrovia is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
