After a string of four wins, Mineral Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Jackson-Milton Bluejays by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Mineral Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Molina, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Justin Dailey was another, earning two RBI and two stolen bases.

Mineral Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Jackson-Milton, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Mineral Ridge will host East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. East will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Jackson-Milton, they will venture away from home to face off against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
