The Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights are taking a road trip to take on Veritas Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hill Country Christian School of Austin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Round Rock Christian Academy. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Jackson Rose was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ashton Berzins, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Veritas Academy's offense. They came up short against Vanguard College Prep back in March, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, Veritas Academy's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin pushed their record up to 11-8-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Veritas Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.
