Having just played yesterday, the Red Mesa Redskins will get right back to it and host the Many Farms Lobos at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Red Mesa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Red Mesa came up short against Seligman and fell 59-48.
Red Mesa's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jonah Herbert, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Jerwin Begay who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Herbert's 12th in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, Many Farms strolled past Greyhills Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 62-45. The victory was just what Many Farms needed coming off of a 94-57 loss in their prior matchup.
Red Mesa has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Many Farms, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Red Mesa took their victory against Many Farms in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 55-34. Will Red Mesa repeat their success, or does Many Farms have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
