Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Gets the Win

Northeastern posted their closest win since March 29th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Pennridge Rams 1-0.

Jackson Wertz paced Northeastern's offense, picking up five kills. Wertz got some help from Jacob Zambito and his nine assists. Finally, Wertz was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 14-5-5. As for Pennridge, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Northeastern has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Cumberland Valley on the 12th. As for Pennridge, they will square off against North Penn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
