Campolindo is 10-0 against Acalanes since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Campolindo Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Acalanes Dons at 7:30 p.m. Campolindo will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Campolindo put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 83-17 victory over Mt. Diablo at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Campolindo has managed all season.
Campolindo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tim Smith out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Will Marusich, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Acalanes' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell to Alhambra 51-47.
Campolindo's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Acalanes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Campolindo strolled past Acalanes in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 68-49. Will Campolindo repeat their success, or does Acalanes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
