Daniel Rose and Marcus Ricks provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Cosby. The connection was good for 89 yards, the longest such play in 5A Conference 12 this season.
Bird added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Huguenot, 60-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Manchester's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Lancers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Rose has thrown for 1,125 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Jonathan Duhart has 29 catches for 532 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Prince George takes on Matoaca. The Royals are currently in fourth, while the Warriors are in fifth.
Bird took down the Falcons 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
