La Cueva extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Jordyn Dyer. The La Cueva Bears breezed by the Del Norte Knights to the tune of 62-26 on Tuesday thanks in part to Dyer, who went 9 of 17 on her way to 22 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That's the most steals she has posted since back in February of 2024.
Despite the loss, Del Norte still got an impressive performance from Bleona Agushi, who posted 20 points. That was a full 76.9% of Del Norte's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Jaelynn Casuse also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
La Cueva has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
