Immanuel Christian waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Baker Braves. The contest marked the Crusaders' most dominant victory of the season.

Immanuel Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Baker to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-8.

Ava Blakie paced Immanuel Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Blakie got some help from Neisha Schollars and her nine assists. Schollars was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Immanuel Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Baker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18-1 record this season.

Immanuel Christian will be playing at home against Lee Vining at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baker, they will venture away from home to challenge Beatty at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
