Baseball Recap: First State Military Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dickinson on Monday, First State Military Academy came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 12-1 to the Delaware Military Academy Seahawks on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

First State Military Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Bright, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

First State Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Delaware Military Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First State Military Academy will face off against Sussex Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Delaware Military Academy, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
