The Towson Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 73-44 loss at the hands of Milford Mill Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Towson has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Towson still got an impressive performance from Quint Fryer, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Fryer is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Korey Collins, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Towson dropped their record down to 6-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Milford Mill Academy, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Towson will take on Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Perry Hall will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Milford Mill Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Concordia Prep at 2:00 p.m. on January 27th.
