Braddock is 1-7 against TERRA Environmental since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will welcome TERRA Environmental at 3:30 p.m. Braddock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.2 runs per game this season.
Braddock was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Archbishop Carroll on Tuesday. Braddock was the clear victor by a 22-3 margin over Archbishop Carroll. The result was nothing new for Braddock, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Emely Ramirez made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Anais Gonzalez was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emily Cancio, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Braddock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .744. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, TERRA Environmental's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They came up short against South Dade, falling 16-1. The match marked TERRA Environmental's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Aryanna Hussain made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one RBI.
TERRA Environmental's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Braddock, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Braddock hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .402. However, it's not like TERRA Environmental struggles in that department as they've averaged .480. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Braddock suffered a grim 15-1 defeat to TERRA Environmental in their previous meeting back in April of 2021. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
