The General McLane Lancers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 60-50 to Cathedral Prep. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for General McLane in their matchups with Cathedral Prep: they've now lost three in a row.
Amaree Pickens was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 13 points. Spencer Kanne was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
General McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Cathedral Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. General McLane will take on Fort LeBoeuf at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort LeBoeuf is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Cathedral Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Meadville at 7:15 p.m. Hopefully Meadville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
