Gray's Creek lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Deante Wike, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Khalil Lewis was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Jack Britt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Lord led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tysean Major, who scored eight points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Gray's Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Jack Britt, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
Gray's Creek will take on Cape Fear at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jack Britt, they will head out on the road to take on South View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully South View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Friday.
